Introduction

Our purpose
Crown Operations was established in 1988 to prelaminate and convert interlayers for the automotive and architectural laminated glass markets. Many well-known auto manufacturers, particularly in Europe, have embraced the idea of anti-solar laminated glass. Additionally, several large-scale building projects have incorporated prelaminates of various types into their laminated glass.

Glass Lamination Process Advantages

Versatility

Prelam can be assembled using a variety of anti-solar films and sheeted plastics including PVB, TPU and others

The flexibility of Prelam is ideal for curved glass

Efficiency

Prelam is assembled in portable roll form which can yield approximately 175 windshields

With Crown's converting capabilities, rolls can be cut to meet specific size requirements, minimizing extra work for glass producers

We offer pre-cut windshield shapes in roll form (see Prelam II); this again minimizes work for glass producers
